The simple fact is that top dog foods in the market contain ingredients that can permanently harm your dog and at worst kill them. If you’re like most people, you don’t realise how damaging some of these products can be, the last thing we all need is to harm our beloved dogs in any way. Top dog food products should contain quality ingredients and have nutritional value, it should also be able to provide a balanced diet and contain high quality protein sources. Some examples are fresh meat or single meats like beef, lamb or chicken; a top dog food should also contain whole grains that are unprocessed with fruits and vegetables included. Always ensure that natural preservatives are used and not chemicals like propylene glycol.
The home brand of top dog foods compared to premium dog food of course is always cheaper, but if you look closely at the label, you will need to triple the dose of feeding compared to a premium product to get the most nutrients for your dog, so as you can see the premium dog food in the end is cheaper and much better for your dogs health. The longevity of your dog’s life depends on the foods that you feed them.
Just remember that the home brand or lower end of the market brands contain by-products which are leftover remains from meat and poultry processing. These do not contain any goodness at all for your beloved dog. Remember to read the label on all top dog food products, what is contained within is far more important than the cost.
